Start with one question
Use the labelled table as a reference. Describe one visible hand at a time, then compare two categories. Avoid rushing into a full community-card example before you can recognise the basic pattern.
Put the idea into practice
When two hands share a category, consult the appropriate tie-breaking rule. The order in which cards are displayed is not a substitute for examining the relevant ranks.
Before the next session
Keep a short record of what you learnt. Check your specific variant’s instructions whenever an example or interface differs from the reference.
